05:59 AM EDT, 10/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lion E-Mobility (LMIA.F) unit Lion Smart Production received three additional orders for stationary battery energy storage systems in Germany, with respective storage capacities of 10 megawatt-hours. The new BESS projects are expected to be completed and connected to the grid in the first quarter of 2027, according to a Thursday release. Separately, the European battery pack manufacturer's subsidiary is planning to market "BESS as a Service" to operators of photovoltaic and wind farms. The offering will facilitate the use of a storage system without investment from operators in the storage asset.
