
The Zhitong Finance App learned that in the 3rd Annual Asian Most Influential Business Women List released by “Fortune” on October 7, Hong Kong women are talented, and as many as 16 top female leaders are on the list. Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388) CEO Chen Yiting has been on the list for three consecutive years, ranking 5th this time. It is worth noting that Chen Yiting and Watsons Group CEO Ni Wenling (6th) are also the only Hong Kong representatives to rank in the Fortune 100 Fortune Most Powerful Women 2026 Top 100, ranking 15th and 20th respectively.
Another focus of this list is on the two sisters in the Gamble King Family. Ho Chiu-king and Ho Chiu-fung were both selected as representatives from different regions: Ho Chiu-king (26th) is on the list as Hong Kong representative and is in charge of MGM China; while his sister Ho Chiu-fung (27th) was selected as a representative of Macau to take the helm of Australian Expo Holdings.
In the 2026 list, DBS Group CEO Tan Su Shan topped the list, while Grace Wang remained in second place. Tech entrepreneur Zhou Qunfei jumped 25 places to 3rd place this year, which is one of the most notable ranking changes in this year's list, highlighting the growing influence of female tech leaders in the Asian business community.
The list covered 14 markets in the Asia-Pacific region, with 18 people selected from mainland China, the largest number, followed by 16 from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and 12 from Singapore. Other listed markets include Thailand (9), India (7), Japan (6), Australia (6), Vietnam (5), Malaysia (5), South Korea (4), Philippines (4), Taiwan (3), Indonesia (3), and Macau SAR (2).
