The Zhitong Finance App learned that the National Energy Administration issued a document stating that as the number of new energy vehicles continues to grow and the proportion of people traveling green on holidays continues to rise, the National Energy Administration guides all regions to refine and improve charging guarantee plans in advance, and organizes relevant parties to use information platforms to strengthen monitoring and emergency scheduling to effectively guarantee the charging needs of large-scale NEV trips during the National Day this year. Through statistical analysis of 62,700 highway charging facilities (guns) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, from 0:00 a.m. on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7, the total number of charging times for new energy vehicles on highways in China was 6711,000 times, reaching 163 million kilowatt-hours. The average daily charging capacity was 23.256,600 kilowatt-hours, and the average daily charging capacity increased by 51.42% over the same period last year.
In the next step, the National Energy Administration will work with relevant parties to thoroughly implement the work deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, continue to promote the construction of charging facilities in highway service areas, and provide a solid and reliable charging service guarantee for people to travel green, convenient, and safe during the holidays.
