Yemen's Houthis issued a statement on the 8th local time saying that on the evening of the same day, the Houthis fired two cruise missiles at Saudi Riyadh King Khalid International Airport, while simultaneously firing a ballistic missile at Najran Airport and a ballistic missile at Khamis Mushait Air Force Base. This is the third time the Houthis have issued a statement on the 8th saying they attacked King Khalid International Airport. The Houthis claimed that the above attacks all “hit targets with precision”, causing air operations at Riyadh and Najran airports to be affected, and that the airport and Khamis Mushait air force base were damaged. The Houthis also said that Saudi Arabia has launched 59 air strikes against areas controlled by the Houthis in the past 24 hours, targeting the Yemeni capital Sana'a, as well as Jawf, Taiz, Malib, Hodeidah, Hajjah, Sa'da, Lahti, Al Ramah, Ib, and Al-Bayda provinces. Since the escalation of the situation, Saudi Arabia has carried out 1,857 air and missile attacks on areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
