(MIRM) announced that the FDA has approved Atebrioz (zilurgisertib), a once-daily oral treatment designed to reduce abnormal bone formation in patients aged 12 and older with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP), a rare disease that progressively restricts movement. The approval was supported by clinical trial data showing a reduction in new bone lesion volume compared with placebo.
