Recently, Tiff Soparis, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Nature Reserves of the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia, and his entourage visited the National Marine Technology Center. The two sides reached a consensus on sustainable marine cooperation and exchange. The main person in charge of the National Marine Technology Center pointed out that the cooperation between the two sides covers various fields such as marine spatial planning, ocean observation, marine ecological protection and restoration. Mechanisms such as the China-Cambodia Clean Green/Blue Sustainable Cooperation Platform and the China-Cambodia Joint Ocean Observatory continue to work, and the results of the cooperation have been highly recognized and applied by the Cambodian Ministry of Environment. We hope that in the future, the two sides will explore more opportunities for cooperation in the fields of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation special funds, Asian cooperation funds, and foreign aid projects.
