05:07 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ørsted (ORSTED.CO) will buy the remaining 49.9% of the Gunfleet Sands 1 & 2 offshore wind farm in the UK from its investment partners for 15 million pounds sterling. The Danish wind power company will take full ownership of the 172-megawatt asset by exercising a long-standing buyback right, according to a Monday release. The transaction is expected to be completed in November, pending closing conditions.
