Recently, a media report said that in the core area of “China Sky Eye” in Pingtang, Guizhou, visitors can drive into the core area after paying for the “China Tianyan In-depth Science Experience” program; some visitors reported that after spending 2,688 yuan to stay at the “China Sky Eye Beyond the Year” hotel located in the core area, a tour guide led them to the “China Sky Eye” circle. The security check was flawed. They could carry mobile phones and other electronic devices without permission to take close-up shots. On October 12, the Chinese Academy of Sciences issued an information notice on the incident, stating that an investigation task force had been set up to carry out a comprehensive investigation of the incident. If irregularities and discipline violations are discovered, the relevant units and those responsible will be dealt with seriously.
