04:46 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wärtsilä (WRT1V.HE) secured a five-year contract to service Viking Line's Viking XPRS passenger ferry, the company said Tuesday. The marine and energy industry technology company will handle maintenance planning, scheduled spare parts and maintenance support, and assign a dedicated contract manager to oversee the maintenance work. Viking XPRS becomes the third vessel in Viking Line's fleet to get Wärtsilä lifecycle support.
