06:12 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe reduced its forecasts for Kering (KER.PA), expecting phasing at the company's Gucci brand to have an impact on its third-quarter results. "While we remain increasingly confident in the turnaround strategy following Gucci's sequential improvement, Q3 will be affected by phasing, with less support from new launches and tougher comparables," analysts said in a Monday note. "Combined with a still challenging global consumer environment, with China stabilising rather than recovering, softer consumer momentum and weaker tourist spending in Europe, as well as normalising growth in the US, has led us to further trim our H2 26 earnings expectations, particularly for the Fashion & Leather Goods division, ahead of the Q3 release." As such, the 2026 and 2027 EPS estimates for the French luxury goods company were lowered by 1.38% and 1.27%, respectively, to 6.86 euros and 8.90 euros. The research firm rates the stock at buy, with a price target of 267 euros. Kering is set to release its third-quarter revenue update on Oct. 22.
