08:01 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research adjusted its forecasts for LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton (MC.PA) after the French luxury goods group's "underwhelming" third-quarter results still came in better than feared. LVMH posted a 1% organic revenue growth for the quarter, in line with BofA and consensus estimates, the research firm said Tuesday. "Wines & Spirits and Selective Retailing were the bright spots. Core F&L division at -5% missed slightly. However, this was rounded to the nearest whole number and management said that the decline was in fact closer to -4.5%, and also included a logistics one-off at Vuitton in North America costing c.50bps of topline. Therefore, the underlying result whilst still weak, was not worse than feared." BofA analysts wrote, noting an improvement in September revenue trends. Taking this into account, BofA "very slightly" raised its revenue projections for 2026, 2027 and 2028, while EBIT estimates were bumped down. EPS forecasts for all three years were also trimmed. "Whilst luxury demand is currently weak, and has been for three years, we believe in the structural drivers of growth over the medium term (albeit with a lower through the cycle growth rate). LVMH is one of the best brand builders in the world, in our view, and will find a way to drive cultural relevance and volumes back into its business," BofA added. The stock's buy rating was retained, with a price objective of 520 euros.
