09:45 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SSAB (SSAB-A.ST, SSAB-B.ST, SSABBH.HE, SSABAH.HE) started construction of a new quenching line in the Swedish municipality of Oxelösund. The project represents a 3.3 billion-krona investment and is expected to add 100,000 tonnes of annual capacity to the steel producer's Special Steels division, according to a Tuesday release. Production is scheduled to start in 2030.
