Zhitong Finance App News, Standard Development Group (01867) announced that the company's subsidiary Standard Development (Shandong) Co., Ltd. (Standard Development (Shandong)) has recently passed an independent review conducted by RINA Services S.p.A. (RINA), an internationally renowned certification body under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) framework, and has been awarded ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS certifications (such certifications).

These certifications confirm that the development of standards (Shandong) meets the sustainable development requirements and greenhouse gas emission reduction standards defined by the European Renewable Energy Directive, as well as the sustainable development requirements defined by the ISCC for bioeconomy and circular economy. Specifically, these certifications confirm that the Group has the technical knowledge, ability and technical compliance path to process various types of waste carbon-based resources (such as waste tires) into low-carbon marine fuel oil, low-carbon diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel.

Following the Group's previous ISCC EU certification in the field of biomethane and biomethanol, these certifications mark the Group's significant progress in developing green energy products:

Establishing multiple solid waste conversion technology processes and capabilities: The Group has successfully established a technical process for producing low-carbon fuels using carbon-based waste such as industrial waste tires as raw materials. These certifications confirm that the Group's relevant technical processes have met strict international standards in terms of greenhouse gas emission reduction and supply chain traceability throughout the life cycle, and have process technical capabilities to produce low-carbon marine fuel, low-carbon diesel and sustainable aviation fuel in line with international standards.

Constructing a multi-field technology reserve matrix for sea, land and air: With the establishment of the above technical processes, the Group has established clean energy technology reserves covering the multi-dimensional “shipping, land transportation, aviation and industry” scenarios in terms of technology and compliance, laying a solid foundation for future engineering implementation and commercial application in various segments.

Implement a circular economy to help global climate control: Efficient energy conversion of industrial solid waste such as waste tires has the dual benefits of “pollution control” and “fossil energy replacement.” The Group will continue to rely on advanced process development to promote the advancement of clean energy technology, help customers and the industrial chain achieve deep carbon reduction in the future, and actively respond to global climate change. Although the issuance of such certification will qualify the Group to enter the global green energy market in terms of compliance requirements, subsequent engineering implementation of relevant processes, production line construction progress, actual production capacity release, market and customer development, order signing time, and actual contributions to the Group's financial performance and operating performance will all be affected by a number of external and internal uncertainties, including but not limited to macroeconomic and policy changes, market fuel price fluctuations, and the Group's capital expenditure plans.
