11:58 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wizz Air (WIZZ.L) is negotiating with airports to secure slots from carriers that are at risk of bankruptcy as part of its expansion plans across Europe, Reuters reported Tuesday. Chief Corporate Officer Owain Jones told Reuters that the budget airline plans to expand further in Italy and Spain, while maintaining its core market in Central and Eastern Europe.
