12:31 PM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ABB (ABBN.SW, ABB.ST) deployed Ethernet-APL instrumentation at Boliden's (BOL.ST) Kokkola zinc plant in Finland, according to a Tuesday release. The instrumentation connects next-generation field devices to the engineering and technology company's Ability System 800xA distributed control system, giving the plant easier access to device diagnostics and process information. The project was delivered in collaboration with industrial automation company Pepperl+Fuchs.
