Ripple has partnered with Stripe-owned Privy to introduce embedded wallets on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

Who Will Benefit From Ripple’s Partnership

The partnership will enable developers to build payment applications using XRP (CRYPTO: XRP), Ripple USD (CRYPTO: RLUSD) and other digital assets while expanding support for AI-powered commerce.

It will allow:

  • Developers to create and manage XRPL wallets programmatically, sign transactions and integrate digital asset payments directly into applications without requiring users to manage private keys.
  • Fintech companies to embed wallets and simplify stablecoin payments.
  • AI agents to hold and transact funds through x402 payment protocols through server side wallets.

Markus Infanger, SVP of RippleX at Ripple, said the partnership combines Privy’s wallet infrastructure with XRPL’s fast settlement, low transaction costs and native digital asset capabilities.

The companies also plan to introduce additional features, including transaction policy controls and gas sponsorship, to simplify wallet management.

Why Will The Deal Benefit Ripple

Ripple highlighted growing adoption of agentic commerce on XRPL, noting that the network has processed 13 million AI agent payments.

This accounts for around 25% of network activity.

Privy CEO Henri Stern said stablecoins are transforming global payments, positioning XRPL as infrastructure for both traditional financial applications and emerging agentic commerce.

XRPL has grown to more than 8 million funded accounts and facilitated over $1 trillion in value transfers across its 14-year history, according to Privy.

While the partnership could expand the utility of XRP and RLUSD, increased network activity does not necessarily translate into higher XRP prices.
