12:40 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The United Kingdom and Canada renewed their artificial intelligence security partnership, strengthening cooperation between their national AI safety institutes to address emerging risks and establish interoperable standards, according to a Tuesday release. Building on the initial partnership agreement signed in 2024, the reaffirmed alliance seeks to enhance information sharing, including through "appropriate" Five Eyes networks, and share strategies for developing "domestic resilience" against AI threats. The countries also aim to broaden their technical cooperation, including staff exchanges and joint evaluation activities.
