02:32 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe forecasts BP's (BP.L) third-quarter results will reflect "stronger" cash generation due to expected improvements in refining margins and "record" gas trading and gas output matching first-half levels. "Free cash flow before financing reaches USD 20.2bn in 2026 and USD 18.8bn in 2027, with capex held at USD 13.75bn and USD 13.5bn. Debt is also coming down faster than planned, already below the USD 13.5-14.5bn guided for Q3," the research firm said Tuesday ahead of the earnings report scheduled for Oct. 30. Against this backdrop, the research firm raised its EPS forecasts for full-year 2026 and 2027 to $1.31 and $0.82, respectively, from $1.17 and $0.81. AlphaValue/Baader Europe also upgraded the stock to add from reduce, with a price target of 6.87 pounds sterling.
