02:37 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Water Services Regulation Authority, or Ofwat, is proposing a net 240 million-pound-sterling reduction in customer bills under its outcome delivery incentive determinations for 2025-26. Of the total proposed amount, 107 million pounds would be returned in customer bills in 2027-28, according to a Wednesday filing. The outcome delivery incentive is based on the water companies' performance. Yorkshire Water and Thames Water would see the largest amount of underperformance payments applied in April 2027, while Severn Trent's (SVT.L) Severn Trent Water and Northumbrian Water are expected to receive the largest upward outperformance payments, according to the outcome delivery incentive draft. Ofwat will release its final decision by Dec. 15, 2026, which will affect bills from April 1, 2027.
