03:00 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust (ORIT.L) conditionally agreed to buy the under-construction Barnsdale Solar Park from British onshore renewable energy developer OnPath Energy for 34.6 million pounds sterling, including remaining construction costs. The 55-megawatt peak solar project in West Yorkshire, UK, was awarded a fixed-price, consumer price index-linked government-backed contract for difference, or CfD, until 2041, according to a Wednesday release. The renewables infrastructure company's acquisition is subject to the site meeting conditions ahead of the CfD commencement deadline, which are expected to be met in March 2027.
