03:20 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UK Energy Group's (UKEN.L) subsidiary UK Energy Storage and UK Nuclear agreed to jointly explore opportunities to develop advanced nuclear power, green hydrogen and ammonia production, and underground energy storage facilities. Under a five-year memorandum of understanding, the companies will explore using power, heat and steam generated by advanced and small modular reactors to produce hydrogen and green ammonia, according to a Wednesday filing. The partnership will also involve identifying suitable project locations, coordinating stakeholder and government engagement, and exploring funding opportunities.
