03:30 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB-A.ST, SEB-C.ST), or SEB, expects its capital buffer to be negatively affected by 120 basis points following the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's review of its Internal Ratings-Based models. As a result, the financial services group's risk exposure amount will be increased by 150 billion kronor, effective Dec. 31, according to a Wednesday release. The temporary negative effect will be effective until the Swedish financial regulator clears its Internal Ratings-Based model applications, which will be submitted in the third quarter of 2027.
