NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock edged higher in Wednesday’s premarket trading as investors weighed mixed index futures and key technical levels.

NVIDIA gained 0.06% even as Nasdaq futures slipped 0.08%. Meanwhile, S&P 500 futures rose 0.19%, signaling a mixed start for major technology stocks.

Traders appeared focused on technical support levels and broader market sentiment. The stock remained near its short-term moving averages, suggesting investors were cautious about pushing shares higher.

Latest Collaborations

Separately, Danaher Corporation (NYSE:DHR) announced a collaboration with NVIDIA on Wednesday to integrate AI and accelerated computing into laboratory instruments and workflows, aiming to speed up scientific discovery.

In another development, London Stock Exchange Group plc (OTC:LSEGY) partnered with NVIDIA to accelerate historical market data analysis. Benchmark tests showed NVIDIA’s cuDF technology could reduce processing times from hours to seconds, helping financial institutions analyze large datasets faster.

Technical Analysis

NVIDIA shares traded slightly above their 20-day simple moving average (SMA) of $228.32 and 20-day exponential moving average (EMA) of $228.46.

The stock also remained above its longer-term moving averages, signaling a positive broader trend.

Shares traded 2.5% above the 50-day SMA of $223.03, 6.6% above the 100-day SMA of $214.43 and 12.9% above the 200-day SMA of $202.54.

The relative strength index (RSI) stood at 52.53, indicating neutral momentum. This suggests the stock was neither overbought nor oversold.

Additionally, the 20-day SMA remained above the 50-day SMA, while the 50-day SMA stayed above the 200-day SMA. Both signals point to a bullish trend.

Traders are watching resistance at $230.50. A sustained move above that level could support further gains.

On the downside, $209 remains a key support level.

Earnings And Analyst Outlook

NVIDIA’s next estimated earnings report is scheduled for Nov. 18, 2026.

Analysts expect earnings of $2.38 per share, compared with $1.30 a year earlier. Revenue is projected to reach $104.19 billion, up from $57.01 billion.

The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 28.9, reflecting elevated growth expectations.

NVIDIA carries a consensus Buy rating, with an average analyst price forecast of $342.38. Recent analyst actions include:

  • Cantor Fitzgerald: Maintained an Overweight rating and $350 price forecast on Oct. 1.
  • Rosenblatt: Maintained a Buy rating and $390 price forecast on Sept. 29.
  • Piper Sandler: Initiated coverage with an Overweight rating and $300 price forecast on Sept. 10.

Benzinga Edge Rankings

NVIDIA’s Benzinga Edge rankings highlight strong growth, quality and momentum. However, its valuation remains a concern.

The stock has a Momentum score of 82.59 and a Quality score of 97.56.

Its Growth score stands at 98.05, reflecting strong business expansion. However, its Value score of 6.68 suggests the shares look expensive based on traditional valuation measures.

Overall, NVIDIA maintains a strong growth profile, although its premium valuation could make the stock sensitive to earnings disappointments.

ETF Exposure

NVIDIA also holds significant weightings in several exchange-traded funds.

These include Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta U.S. Large Cap Equity ETF (NYSE:GSLC), with a 9.83% weighting; Pacer Data and Digital Revolution ETF (NYSE:TRFK), at 9.92%; and First Trust Innovation Leaders ETF (NYSE:ILDR), at 9.86%.

Their exposure means NVIDIA’s stock performance can significantly affect these funds’ returns.

NVDA Price Action

NVIDIA shares rose 0.06% to $228.65 in Wednesday’s premarket trading, according to Benzinga Pro data.
