11:32 PM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nestlé's (NESN.SW) US arm and Gerber Products Co are facing a lawsuit from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over alleged neurotoxins in Gerber baby food. In a Wednesday release, Paxton accused the food companies of misleading parents in Texas with claims that the baby food is safe, rigorously tested, and pediatrician-recommended despite alleged "dangerous levels of arsenic and lead" in the products, citing Gerber's "own test results." Paxton is filing the claims under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Swiss food and beverage company Nestlé did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
