01:55 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BW Energy (BWE.OL) and Panoro Energy (PEN.OL) reported commercial oil volume discoveries during drilling at both appraisal wells at the Dussafu field in Gabon. The drilling results indicate a combined recovery of 8 million to 9 million barrels of gross oil and support drilling two additional producing wells, according to a Thursday release. BW Energy, the operator of the Dussafu license, owns a 73.5% working interest, while Panoro Energy and Gabon Oil Co. own 17.5% and 9% stakes, respectively.
