03:18 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Banco Santander (SAN.MC, BNC.L) is planning a full redemption of two series of its outstanding covered bonds that will mature in October 2027. The Spanish lender said Thursday that it will redeem 1.20 billion euros of covered bonds and $3.80 billion of covered bonds. The redemption and cancellation will be carried out on Saturday, ahead of the Oct. 19 schedule for the next coupon payment date.
