According to reports, US President Trump has been calling friends and allies to ask if Susie Wiles, the longest-serving White House Chief of Staff, should be fired and replaced with a new person at the highest position of power in the White House. Four sources with knowledge of the president's conversation said that Trump is already looking for a successor to Wiles. Wiles is a veteran Florida political trader and the first woman to serve as the White House Chief of Staff. The report said that many people advised Trump to replace this loyal staff member. A Republican politician said that while Wiles was in charge of the Trump administration, he “offended many people.” A Republican elected official who has been consulted by the president said that Trump is considering promoting Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller or hiring New York Yankees executive Randy Levine as chief of staff to preside over the administration.
