12:09 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alstom (ALO.PA) signed an 800 million-pound sterling contract with UK operator Greater Anglia for a 15-year extension to their train services agreement. The French rail and transport equipment company will continue to maintain the operator's fleet of 133 five-car electric trains at the Seven Kings depot until the early 2040s, according to a Thursday release. The agreement covers planned maintenance, including major overhauls, unplanned maintenance, fault repair, material supply, and reliability improvements, as well as ongoing performance improvements.
