02:21 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Steyr Motors (4X0.VI, 4X0.F) is working with drone specialist Avilus on the power supply for its Grille unmanned aircraft system, designed to evacuate wounded personnel and carry supplies. The Austrian customized engine manufacturer said Friday that its M12 generator can charge spare batteries while the drone is in flight, allowing for the batteries to be swapped in one minute after landing.
