03:39 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Iodine producer Iofina (IOF.L) commissioned its commercial-scale iodine production facility IO#12 IOsorb plant, in the Permian Basin of the US. The facility is undergoing hydrotesting, with production expected to start in the coming weeks, according to a Friday filing. The company is targeting an annual production of between 170 and 220 tonnes of crystalline iodine.
