04:52 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The British and German governments agreed to strengthen their defense-industrial cooperation during talks in London, according to a Friday release. The UK-Germany Ministerial Group on Equipment and Capability Cooperation meeting advanced work on key industrial collaboration and new technology, including a joint initiative to develop long-range strike capability. The latest discussions built on the Trinity House Agreement from October 2024, which established a program of bilateral cooperation between the UK and Germany across air, land, maritime, cyber and space, and the wider Kensington Treaty from July 2025.
