05:11 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aura Energy (AURA.L) said the bankable feasibility study for its Tiris uranium project in Mauritania confirmed it as a technically simple and long-life mine requiring limited capital. The study outlined a post-tax net present value, discounted at 8%, of $500.3 million, a 28% internal rate of return, and a payback period of 3.2 years from first production, the uranium and battery metals miner said Friday. The project's saleable production was estimated at 46.1 million pounds of triuranium octoxide over a 26-year mine life, averaging 1.8 million pounds a year. Annual revenue was estimated at $158 million. The development capital was estimated at $349.8 million, and the construction is expected to take two years. A final investment decision is targeted for December 2026, with first production by the end of 2028.
