07:58 AM EDT, 10/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use recommended the approval of CuraTeQ Biologics' filgrastim drug Neuzafy, a biosimilar to Amgen's Neupogen. Neuzafy is intended to treat neutropenia and the mobilization of peripheral blood progenitor cells in adults and children, according to a Friday notice. The committee's positive opinion is based on Neuzafy's comparable quality, safety, and efficacy to Neupogen, which is approved in several EU countries. The drug is subject to a final marketing authorization from the European Commission.
