02:52 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gamma Communications (GAMA.L) adjourned shareholder meetings on its planned acquisition by private equity firm Epiris GP III-backed Bradbury Bidco after receiving proxy votes representing less than 40% of eligible shares. As such, the communications services company moved the meetings to Nov. 2 from Tuesday, according to a Monday filing. Gamma's board attributed the low participation mainly to merger arbitrage funds, which hold 50% of the company's economic interests and have only recently established their positions. The additional time will allow more shareholders to vote or change their voting instructions. The acquisition is now expected to become effective in the first quarter of 2027, compared with the first half of 2027 previously anticipated. Gamma's board unanimously recommends the deal, while Bradbury Bidco confirmed that the offer price of 11.20 pounds sterling per share is final, subject to specified exceptions. Gamma said it is not in talks with any other parties for a potential competing offer.
