05:14 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals (HEMO.L) partnered with Japan's Nitto Denko to explore whether the latter's cell-targeted lipid nanoparticle drug delivery technology could be used to deliver its messenger RNA encoding its FLT3-targeting chimeric antigen receptor to human T cells. Subject to the study's success, the London-listed biopharmaceutical company would be able to convert its CAR-T technology into a drug-like, off-the-shelf product, making it easier to manufacture, store and distribute than traditional autologous CAR-T therapy, according to a Monday filing. The study is an in vitro evaluation and is expected to take four months. It will not affect Hemogenyx's ongoing phase 1 clinical trial of HG-CT-1 in relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia.
