After passing through a number of public tenders and bidding procedures at the Guangzhou Public Resources Exchange Center, Guangshenzhu Company (regarded as a subsidiary of the company) signed the following Shenzhen section construction contracts (TJ1, TJ3-TJ7) with the winning bidders on October 19, 2026:
1. The Shenzhen section construction contract (TJ1 section) was signed with CCCC First Shipping. The contract price was approximately RMB 1,590.5 billion;
2. The Shenzhen section construction contract (TJ3 section) was signed with CCCC Road and Bridge Construction. The contract price was approximately RMB 783 million;
3. A construction contract for the Shenzhen section (TJ4 section) was signed with the China Railway Tunnel Bureau. The contract price was approximately RMB 805 million;
4. A construction contract for the Shenzhen section (TJ5 section) was signed with the China Railway Bridge Administration. The contract price was approximately RMB 770.4 million;
5. A construction contract for the Shenzhen section (TJ6 section) was signed with the 12th Bureau of China Railway. The contract price was approximately RMB 1,287 billion;
6. A construction contract for the Shenzhen section (TJ7 section) was signed with CCCC Second Highway. The contract price was approximately RMB 1,426.8 billion.
The investment, construction, operation and maintenance of expressways is one of the Group's main businesses. The signing of the Shenzhen section construction contract (TJ1, TJ3-TJ7 section) is part of the implementation of the approved road section (Shenzhen section) renovation and expansion project. It will help improve the traffic capacity and service level of the approved road section (Shenzhen section), strengthen the Group's core competitiveness in the toll road industry, and be in line with the Group's development strategy.
The Guangzhou-Shenzhen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway is a major highway connecting the three major Chinese cities of Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Shenzhen. Since it was officially opened to traffic in 1997, its traffic volume has grown rapidly, and it has now reached a state of basic saturation. In order to ease traffic pressure, the approved road section (Guangzhou-Dongguan section) renovation and expansion project began at the end of 2023.
