11:29 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ALK-Abelló's (ALK-B.CO) phase 3 trial of its Acarizax drug showed positive results in Chinese patients aged 12 to 65 with house dust mite allergic rhinitis or rhinoconjunctivitis, with or without asthma. The Danish pharmaceutical company said Monday the trial met its primary goal, with the treatment reducing allergy symptoms by 19.1% compared with placebo. The tablet was also deemed safe and well-tolerated. ALK-Abelló and biopharmaceutical partner GenSci plan to seek Chinese regulatory approval for Acarizax, with a filing expected in the first half of 2027.
