The Zhitong Finance App learned that Hanson Pharmaceuticals (03692) rose more than 7% in early trading. As of press release, it had risen 7.06% to HK$34, with a turnover of HK$200 million.

According to the news, Hansson Pharmaceuticals announced that on October 17, 2026, the company's wholly-owned subsidiaries Shanghai Hanson Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., Changzhou Hengbang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Hansoh Bio, LLC (collectively “Hanson”), and F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd (Roche) entered into a strategic partnership and licensing agreement. The strategic cooperation covers a combination of a series of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) projects, including two Hanson preclinical ADC projects, and multiple ADC projects developed with targets proposed by Roche and based on Hanson's own ADC technology platform.

According to the cooperation agreement, Hanson will lead the early development of these projects and complete the global Phase Ia clinical trial at the latest. Roche will be responsible for further development of such projects around the world (excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). Hanson reserves all rights in developing, registering and commercializing such projects in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Hanson will receive a down payment of US$400 million and a first anniversary payment of US$110 million, and will be eligible to collect milestone payments of potentially over US$15 billion based on the development, registration and commercialization of such projects, as well as tiered royalties based on future potential product sales.
