In the first three quarters of this year, the National Railway sent 3.05 billion tons of goods, loading an average of 88,000 vehicles per day, a slight increase over the same period last year, and continued to operate at a high level. China's railway logistics products were continuously optimized and improved, and brand influence, market competitiveness and customer satisfaction improved markedly, providing reliable transportation support to reduce logistics costs for the whole society and ensure the smooth operation of the national economy.
First, transportation guarantees for key materials are strong. Give full play to the advantages of a national railway network and centralized transportation dispatch and command, increase coal transportation efforts in the main production areas of Jin, Shan, Mongolia, and the new main production areas to ensure that electricity and coal should be fully equipped and delivered quickly; deeply integrate into the enterprise supply chain, develop 84 coal storage base projects, and establish a new coal production, distribution and marketing model. In the first three quarters, the National Railway sent 1.56 billion tons of coal, including 1.04 billion tons of electricity and coal. Coal storage in direct railway power plants across the country remained at a high level. Actively serve the transportation of agricultural materials, open up green channels, and implement capacity preferences and priority guarantees for food transportation to ensure the efficient operation of food. From January to September, 1,629 total logistics contract contracts were signed, with a contract volume of 1.32 billion tons. A total of 37,500 cross-country freight trains were carefully launched from January to September, and 41.18 million tons of goods were sent, an increase of 38% over the previous year, to serve the construction of a unified national market. Leveraging the role of China's multimodal transport development alliance, we have joined forces with ports and shipping companies to build 8 full-tracking iron and water intermodal transport demonstration lines. Since this year, the 95306 platform has launched 244 new “one single system” projects for iron and water intermodal transport, and the volume of container iron and water intermodal transport increased 8.9% over the same period last year. Continue to promote the construction and operation of China's railway network freight logistics platform, build charging and switching stations at railway yards to help promote new energy heavy trucks on a large scale, and create a new “railway mainline+green short shuttle” full-process logistics service model; relying on major railway logistics nodes, in accordance with the principle of public welfare and inclusiveness, 13 “drivers' homes” with conditions such as dining, vehicle charging, and auto repair have been built and used at railway logistics stations to provide free rest, drinking water, and washing services for car drivers that handle transportation at both ends of railway cargo. In the first three quarters, rail transit volume reached 348 million tons, an increase of 54% over the previous year. Innovatively launched a “railway freight ticket” logistics finance product to effectively reduce comprehensive financing costs for customers and help the development of the real economy.
The third is the high-quality operation of China-Europe (Asia) trains. Strengthen the China-Europe (Asia) train transportation organization, continuously increase the utilization rate and operating ratio of scheduled trains, so that more foreign trade goods can be operated as buses with fixed numbers, routes, schedules and schedules, and provide customers with a stable international logistics supply chain. Strengthen communication and collaboration with foreign railway departments, optimize international intermodal transport organizations, and raise the level of port handover. An international intermodal transport electronic waybill was piloted at Suifenhe Port to replace traditional paper waybills and further enhance the level of cross-border transportation facilitation. In the first three quarters, there were 16,000 China-Europe trains, an increase of 15% over the previous year; 11,000 trains were already in operation, an increase of 2% over the previous year, and railway and sea intermodal trains on the new land and sea corridors in the west sent more than 970,000 TEUs, providing a strong transportation guarantee to ensure the stable and smooth flow of the international supply chain, high-quality service, and the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” and China's high level of openness to the outside world.
