02:12 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The producer prices of industrial products in Germany rose 6.7% year over year in September, following a 4.6% increase in August, the country's Federal Statistical Office said Tuesday. The latest reading was above analysts' expectations of a 6.3% gain and marks the index's strongest annual growth since March 2023. On a monthly basis, producer prices were 1.9% higher, against the expected 1.5% gain.
