On October 20, “Little Genius Watch Closed for Social Networking Was Questioned” hit the headlines and sparked a buzz among netizens. Some netizens said that Little Genius Watch is socially closed, the watch platform is not compatible with the outside world, and children with watches from other brands cannot enter Little Genius's social circle. In response, the reporter consulted Xiaotiancai's official customer service. Staff said that the Little Genius Watch system does not support directly adding watches from other brands such as Huawei and Xiaomi as friends, but watches from other brands can be added to contacts normally, but social functions such as the Little Genius Friend Zone cannot be used. Different models of Little Genius watches can add friends to each other as long as they belong to the same Little Genius brand. As to whether subsequent new products will support the addition of brands such as Huawei and Xiaomi, customer service said that no relevant notifications have been received yet, and that the official website announcement or notification after the new product is released shall prevail. It is impossible to determine at this stage. In terms of parents viewing the child's social content, the staff said that the parent app cannot directly view the child's friend circle, and chat content cannot be directly viewed. If parents want to check their friend circle, they can add the child as a friend with another little genius watch and then view it through the friend circle.
