KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Group has been named Outstanding Private Bank Asia Pacific at the Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards 2026, two years after launching its Affin Diventium private banking business.

In a statement, the banking group said Affin Diventium's assets under management (AUM) rose 38% to RM2.20bil as at June 2026 from RM1.6bil a year earlier.

Affin Diventium provides wealth management services to business owners, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families.

The group said it has also expanded its regional partnerships, including a collaboration with Indonesia's PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) in August 2026 to explore additional banking services and benefits for customers in both markets.

Affin president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said the recognition reflected the progress of its private banking business since its establishment.

"When we established Affin Diventium, we set ourselves the ambition of delivering a top-tier private banking experience. Receiving Asia Pacific recognition within two years gives us confidence in the business we are building.

“I thank our clients for entrusting us with their wealth and our people for the care and commitment they bring to those relationships,” he said.

The group said the development of Affin Diventium forms part of its AX28 Plan, which focuses on customer service, digital leadership and responsible banking.

Affin has also been included in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list for three consecutive years, while its group chief financial officer Joanne Rodrigues was named among Fortune's Most Powerful Women Asia 2026 for the third consecutive year.
