06:00 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cityvarasto (CITYVA.HE) bought a property at Mäkelänkatu 58-60 in Helsinki's Vallila district from LähiTapiola. The property comprises a building with a gross floor area of 14,800 square meters, according to a Tuesday release. The Finnish company expects to open a new self-storage hotel at the site in 2027, with plans to increase its self-storage space gradually in line with market demand. A "significant" portion of the building will continue to house commercial and business premises in the near term.
