Britain will send Royal Air Force “Typhoon” fighter jets to help Saudi Arabia resist attacks by the Houthis in Yemen. British Secretary of Defense Strittin said that “Typhoon” fighter jets will carry out defensive air supremacy missions over Saudi Arabia and will not actively attack the Houthis to help protect Saudi cities, residents, and critical national infrastructure from Houthis attacks. In addition, Britain will also send military advisers and an A400M transport aircraft to Saudi Arabia.
