09:08 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK will step up military support for Saudi Arabia amid escalating Houthi attacks, according to a Tuesday release. The UK Ministry of Defense said the support will include Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jets to carry out defensive counter air missions and an RAF A400M aircraft to move defense equipment within Saudi Arabia. Military advisers will also be sent to assist staff officers in the region. The ministry said the aircraft will not carry out offensive strikes against the Houthis.
