10:43 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY.L) expects all its services to go "back to normal soon" after the issue with Alphabet (ABEA.F, ABEC.F) unit Google's cloud services was resolved, a spokesperson for the British lender told MT Newswires on Tuesday. In an earlier statement sent to MT Newswires, Lloyd's acknowledged that some clients were having issues with online transactions due to the Google Cloud outage, which also affected other banks, businesses, and legal institutions.
