Nuveen Green Capital (NGC) closed on $68.6 million in C-PACE financing, administered through the Texas PACE Authority (TPA), for the ground-up construction of The Meuse, a mixed-use development in Fredericksburg, Texas. The town is about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio. DC Partners is the project developer.

The two-part financing comprises $53.2 million for a hotel, Kimpton Fredericksburg, and $15.4 million for The Meuse’s retail component. Once complete, the property will be the city’s first combined hotel-and-retail destination.

Located at the corner of U.S. Highway 290 and Main Street, The Meuse is a 22-acre development anchored by the Kimpton Fredericksburg Hotel, featuring approximately 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, destination food-and-beverage offerings, resort-style amenities, and access to the global IHG reservation platform. The project’s 70,000-square-foot retail district will feature shops, markets, tasting rooms, and dining. The Meuse is slated to open in late 2027.
