01:04 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Thule Group (THULE.ST) Board Chairman Hans Eckerström stepped down on Tuesday following a 4.5-year stint after certain shareholders proposed his removal. Eckerström, who has sat on Thule's board for nearly 20 years, said he saw no reason to oppose the plan or elongate the process, as he already intended to resign as chairman at the 2027 annual general meeting. AMF, Handelsbanken Fonder, and Alecta, which together hold a 28% interest in the sports and outdoor company, seek to trim the board's size to six members from seven members with the removal of Eckerström and the appointment of board member Per-Arne Blomquist as chairman. The board will convene an extraordinary general meeting within two weeks.
