02:54 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Metals Exploration plc (MTL.L) resumed construction at the La India project in Nicaragua on Wednesday following a pause after a safety-related incident on Monday that caused the death of a worker. The gold miner said that the construction activities resumed across the whole site following a sign-off from the relevant authorities. A company-led investigation into the incident is ongoing.
