Cryptocurrency punters have cut the odds that Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ:META) will make Muse-powered AI glasses available before year-end.

Wait to Get Longer?

The betting crowd on Polygon (CRYPTO: POL)-based Polymarket currently prices a 21% chance this happens by Oct. 31, down from 61% a month ago and 25% a week ago.

Similarly, the odds of Muse coming to AI glasses by Dec. 31 have dropped 10 percentage points in a week to 41%.

Muse will be considered available if Meta ships a feature that lets users instruct the Muse AI agent through the glasses.

The Big AI Bet

At Meta Connect in September, Meta outlined plans to bring Muse to its AI glasses, allowing users to request help with tasks hands-free, including planning workouts, checking nutrition information and booking appointments.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg said earlier that personal AI agents would form the basis of the company’s next phase of product development and monetization.

Notably, the company suspended the Muse AI conversation-sharing feature after security researchers found that public domain name system records could expose thousands of shared chat links.

Meta will report its third-quarter results after the market closes on Wednesday. Analysts expect revenue of $63.36 billion, up from $51.24 billion a year earlier.

Price Action: Meta shares were down 0.33% in pre-market trading after closing 1.59% lower at $694.25 during Tuesday’s regular trading session, according to Benzinga Pro.

META shows a stronger price trend across short-, medium-, and long-term periods, according to Benzinga’s Edge Stock Rankings.
